Narwhals

Narwhals belong to the whale family and live in the ocean. This title aims to nurture a passion for reading in young learners and forms part of Reading Gems, a supplementary series that complements classroom learning.

The series is organized into four stages matched to reading ability, running from readers who are just starting out to those who read independently and with growing assurance. This volume sits at Level 1, written for children taking their first steps with books. Its nonfiction topics will feel familiar to very young readers, and the text repeats patterns often to help build confidence.

Parents and teachers can use the book to pair a child's current skills with material that also stretches them, with each line of text intended to build reading confidence.
