Nature

This board book has large flaps on every page. Small children lift them to find the bright figures hidden behind the cut-out shapes and practise naming the plants and animals that live in gardens, fields, woodlands, jungles and the Arctic. Written as a first look at the natural world, it is meant to build vocabulary and encourage talking in very young readers, and it makes a suitable present. It belongs to a set that also includes 100 First Words and 100 First Words: City.
