Night Game

Iris Johnson, known as Flame, went through the same horrific experiments that changed Gator Fontenot. Now free, she has destructive power few people could imagine, and she is using it to take revenge on those who betrayed her. Her search for payback leads into the sultry bayous of New Orleans, where a shadowy assassin is already hunting her.

Gator belongs to a Special Forces unit made up of paranormal soldiers, and he gets an urgent request he cannot turn down: find the elusive Flame and bring her in. She is a red-haired walking time bomb, and he knows better than most what was done to her.

Both of them carry scars from violent betrayals, which makes trust hard to come by. Even so, a fierce attraction flares between them as the mission goes on. Gator has to decide whether the passion is real or whether one of them is playing a seductive and deadly game. This is a GhostWalker novel by Christine Feehan.
