No Experience Necessary

No Experience Necessary offers a bold and witty presentation of the first steps toward a biblically grounded life of discipleship. It's an engaging resource that guides inexperienced or hesitant Christians to discover the riches of scripture, the wonders of grace, and the basic responses of discipleship for individuals or groups. Each chapter invites the reader to "find their own depth" with two levels of optional questions and specific biblical passages for reading and reflection. Valuable points such as how to choose a Bible--and address doubts set off by the myriad translations and specialty presentations available today--are addressed. With warmth and clarity the author answers the type of questions new disciples may feel foolish in asking, and with colorful and fitting descriptions she describes the challenges and joys of the Christian discipleship.
