Noble Hops

Dominic Price has built a careful, orderly life, and it starts to unravel when his father dies suddenly. Nic is an assistant US attorney who also owns a brewery, and he is only just settling into a steady new stage with Cameron Byrne, an FBI agent and his partner. Nic is convinced his father's death was no accident and suspects a notorious gangster to whom his father owed money. That loan shark, however, is now coming after Nic.

Cam has wanted Nic to trust him with this deeply personal case. The situation shifts when Nic learns he is not the only Price heir, and the boundary between his private life and his professional work begins to blur. Cam is left uncertain about his place in the investigation. Nic needs Cam's expertise in kidnapping and rescue to find a newly discovered relative before time runs out.

As the danger closes in, old memories from Nic's past loom large. The pressure could strain any relationship, and for Nic, searching for his family may cost him the man he loves. The publisher notes that this romance ends happily. The book runs about 72,000 words.
