Nose Uncle

Nisha and Ram are not thrilled to be sent off for the holidays to their Nose Uncle's farm. He is old, and he is an archaeologist, so how much fun could it be? They could not be more wrong. With Nose Uncle around there is never a dull moment, and his magnificent nose, shaped like the prow of a battleship, can sniff out ancient ruins and modern criminals alike.

While Uncle and his young assistants dig in a field in search of an ancient Roman port, they are pulled into a string of baffling and very dangerous events. A white figure almost six feet tall appears out of nowhere in the night, screaming and flailing its arms. Is Professor Andre Rigolet, of the Free University of Central Quebec, really who he claims to be? Why is he in danger? And who are the shadowy people digging in the dark near the excavation site?

Then a ruthless gang of smugglers kidnaps the children. It falls to Nose Uncle and his faithful ally, his nose, to find answers, solve the mystery and bring them home. This fast-moving adventure introduces an eccentric and delightful new detective.
