Oblivionati

Oblivionati is the second volume in the Maglanian Chronicles, and it is built as an interactive gamebook. There is no fixed route. The reader chooses where to go and what to do, so the world unfolds the way an open-world video game does, but on the page.

Readers can take in the book in whichever style suits them, either as someone who wants to savor the story or as a player who is happy to let dice decide the outcome. The book frames the experience as a dream that belongs to you and a game that you run.

The story is driven by a set of mysteries. The reader must find out why the Fae have disappeared, what lies in the Kingstom Gold Mine, and what has stirred the Ophidian King. Other questions concern how you will be received at the Castle of Eustramus, what secrets the city of Oakenburh holds, and who the Oblivionati are and what destruction they are poised to unleash. The book leaves every one of these for the reader to uncover.
