Prepared at San Jose State University in California, this is the fourth edition of a work that has appeared on the Brandon/Hill Allied Health List. The first edition dates from 1990. It serves as both a textbook and a reference for students in bachelor's or entry-level master's programs in occupational therapy, and for working practitioners. Fifty-one contributors from across the United States took part in the volume, which focuses on occupational therapy as a field.
