Ocean Planet

This is the first title by Ben Rothery to focus on life in the ocean. Its illustrations bring to life a wide range of sea creatures, including the Pacific walrus, king penguin, narwhal, great white shark, squid, seahorse, moray eel, humpback whale, manta ray and orca, along with many more.

The book also turns to land animals whose survival depends on the sea. Polar bears and otters appear alongside ring-tailed lemurs, Bengal tigers and British Columbia wolves.

Readers travel through a variety of ocean environments, from tropical reefs and polar seas to islands and open water. The journey moves from the sunlit surface down to the deep abyss and takes in kelp forests and mangroves.
