Oceanforged

Oceanforged is the second book in an epic fantasy adventure series for young readers, from Amelia Mellor, author of The Grandest Bookshop in the World. The series is pitched in the tradition of Skandar and Percy Jackson. A mysterious message sends Cori, Tarn and Jem sailing north to find the secretive Loyalists, who are meant to help them on their quest for the Oceanforged Armour. Instead, the Loyalists give a warning: disaster is coming, and unless Cori can master all the powers of the Champions before it strikes, Aquinta will be doomed. The Loyalists believe a piece of the armour may be hidden in Mutemount. Sea monsters once lurked in the waters around that silent island, and no one who has travelled near it in the last century has ever returned.
