Olaf Stapledon

This study by John Kinnaird treats the fiction of Olaf Stapledon as a companion for readers. It begins with a timeline that sets Stapledon's life beside the appearance of his writings.

A central essay follows how Stapledon's view of humanity shifts across four distinct periods of his life. The main analysis then turns to Last and First Men, Last Men in London, Odd John, Star Maker and Sirius, along with his other fiction.

The volume ends with a list of Stapledon's principal works and a separate list of secondary sources. It runs to 107 pages and includes an index.
