Old School

Life in the Sixth World is bleak, and danger can arrive without warning. This collection of five stories gives a close look at its harshest corners. Whether you are a seasoned operative, a newcomer who slipped into the shadows for protection, or someone trying to disappear or start over, these tales are meant as warnings.

The opening pair follows Yuri and Soren, lovers whose fates cross in the worn and crumbling city of Vladivostok. They leave their homeland for the sprawl of Seattle, only to learn that hardship follows them wherever they go.

Next comes a man known as Mr. Johnson, whose job was sending runners into the shadows. When the corporation he worked for turns on him and leaves him to die, he must become one of the people he once hired if he hopes to escape Atlanta alive. The final story introduces Thomas McAllister, a university professor who also investigates the paranormal. While chasing a string of supernatural serial killings, he uncovers a conspiracy stretching from Denver to Dallas that could engulf the UCAS unless he can stop it.
