Oldest Feud

Written for children but enjoyable for readers of any age, this illustrated tale is light-hearted and funny. It travels back to prehistoric times to meet Kabanjo, the first message bearer, and og, an ancestor of the dog. The two were once close friends, but their bond soured into a rivalry that lasted for all time, as bitter as the Hatfield and McCoy clash.

The book offers an imaginative answer to a question that has puzzled mail carriers and the households they serve: why do dogs seem to dislike the postman? Told as an amusing myth, it turns that everyday mystery into a playful origin story.
