One Bite With A Vampire

The narrator of this paranormal romance never planned on being kidnapped, and being rescued turned out to open up an even crazier world. Two years ago the plan was college, a wild time, and then a normal life. Instead came abduction, months as a test subject, nearly a year in hiding, and the discovery that their whole existence is a science experiment run by the bad guys.

The rescuers at the Community of Species Government (CSG) have been mostly wonderful, providing a job, a home and a support network. Still, it isn't easy being the only human at CSG, and especially not the rescue case. Demons, vampires and shifters take some getting used to, particularly when one vampire makes the narrator consider taking up stake sharpening as a hobby. Andrew is over eight centuries old yet has the maturity of a drunk frat boy.

But Andrew is also a fierce protector, and with the bad guys still at large, that is exactly what the narrator needs. He isn't hard to look at either, as long as he keeps his mouth shut. As they race to find the former captor before the captor finds the narrator, life takes another unexpected turn. This time, at least, the narrator has an eight-hundred-year-old vampire watching their back.
