One wish

Over the school holidays, twelve-year-old Tanya Fairchild travels to Spinney Wicket, a town by the sea. There she forms a friendship with a new companion and gradually learns about the fairy realm that exists alongside ordinary life. Her time in the town also brings her to a wishing tree that holds a remarkable kind of magic.
