Only a Monster

Sixteen-year-old Joan is sent to London to spend the summer with her late mother's eccentric family, and she is set on making it a good one. She enjoys her job at the historic Holland House, and when her cute co-worker Nick asks her out, things seem to be going her way.

Then she discovers the truth. Her relatives are not merely quirky. They are monsters with terrifying hidden powers. Nick is not merely a nice boy either. He is a legendary monster slayer who will stop at nothing to take them down.

As she fights Nick, Joan has to team up with Aaron Oliver, a striking and ruthless young man who is heir to a monster family that despises her own. To save herself and her family she will have to accept the monstrous side of herself, because in this story she is not the hero.
