Out

Cyd Finlea is an intergalactic photo-journalist who travels the cosmos on assignment, hunting for the biggest story in the universe. She works for the publisher Neographic. Ten years have passed since she left Earth for the farthest reaches of space, a region known as THE OUT.

On her journeys she meets strange alien societies and humans who have settled far from home. She shares these encounters with her trusty sentient backpack.

This first volume introduces a new world that was recently launched in the pages of 2000 AD, built around a fresh female lead. The story is written by Dan Abnett, known for Guardians of the Galaxy, and illustrated by Mark Harrison.
