Overwatch
About This Book
When the Omnic Crisis scattered and ravaged the world, people from every corner of the planet stepped forward: soldiers, scientists, adventurers, and eccentrics of every stripe. Their coalition, Overwatch, gave battered survivors a reason to rebuild. Over time its purpose widened to tackle the planet's gravest troubles, with the aim of a future defined by optimism and abundance. At the height of its success, however, the organization collapsed under the weight of its own influence and was dissolved. Its heroes, the story insists, will always return when the world needs them. This volume collects the full history of Overwatch in one place. It includes mission briefings, splash artwork, weapon schematics, and much more. New lore written by the game's development team links the storyline scattered across the franchise's comics, short stories, cinematics, and playable missions into a single narrative. It is aimed at longtime followers and newcomers alike, and it will appeal to collectors who want a keepsake for their shelves.
