Owl Dance

In 1876, Sheriff Ramon Morales of Socorro, New Mexico, crosses paths with Fatemeh Karimi, a woman who has fled persecution in her homeland and hopes to build a new life in the American West.

An ancient life form named Legion arrives on Earth, and Ramon and Fatemeh are swept into a chain of events that will alter the course of world history. Along the way they meet unhinged inventors, violent outlaws, and pirates. Ramon relies on his lightning-fast draw, while Fatemeh has an unusual gift for communicating with owls.

Will those abilities be enough when a fleet of airships from Czarist Russia moves against the United States?
