Paradisa

Connor Bishara, a former Navy SEAL, has spent a decade since leaving the service working as a fry cook and quietly putting his sister Clara's ambitions ahead of his own. He was discharged after a fellow sailor exposed that he is gay, and he has kept his distance from people ever since.

When the rival factions of Paradisa, the home of the gods, begin spilling over into the human world, Connor sees a chance to protect Earth. He joins his soul to Raphael, an enigmatic archangel, and finds that such closeness is hard after years of walling himself off. Helped by Clara and by deities drawn from many world mythologies, he has to let himself love and stand against the approaching war among gods and men, or watch a host of evil tear heaven apart from within.
