Paranormalcy

By her own reckoning, Evie is just an ordinary teenager, even though her day job is with the International Paranormal Containment Agency. Her former boyfriend is a faerie, her heart is drifting toward a shape-shifter, and she has the rare ability to see past supernatural glamours that hide what things really are.

Then she learns that she might be at the heart of a dark faerie prophecy that foretells the destruction of every paranormal creature. Whatever was left of her normal life is suddenly in question.

This is the first volume of a paranormal romance trilogy by Kiersten White, whose earlier novel is And I Darken. The tone is witty and fresh, and the book is aimed at readers who enjoyed Teen Wolf, Buffy and Supernatural. The series continues with Supernaturally and Endlessly.
