Pet Show!

Archie has a problem. The neighborhood pet show is about to start, and his cat, the pet he planned to enter, has run off and can't be found. With no animal to show, it looks like he will miss his chance to take part.

Rather than give up, Archie has to think fast and come up with a plan of his own. How he turns a missing cat into a surprise at the show is the heart of this gentle neighborhood story.

Ezra Jack Keats, the award-winning author and illustrator, tells it with his warm, collage-style pictures and a young hero who is resourceful under pressure. Pet Show! has stayed a well-loved classic for young listeners and early readers.
