Phrase Formulations

This book combines designs produced by the Philosophical Phrase Generator with photographs of ferns. The ferns grow at the edge of a forest in the Southern Catskill Mountains and were photographed after a wet July. Each pair of facing pages places the fern pictures on the left and the generated phrase designs on the right.

The book can be used as an aid to meditation. Look at the fern photographs on the left-hand pages. If your attention drifts to the phrases on the right, return your focus to the ferns.
