Pinecraft Refuge

Eva Miller travels to Florida on her doctor's advice, who has recommended plenty of fresh air and sunshine. What starts as a restful getaway turns into a chance to build some independence when she takes a part-time job at a shop owned by Tanner Dawson, an Amish businessman. Tanner is a single father whose protectiveness reminds Eva of the strict household she grew up in.

Tanner's gruff manner makes him hard to read at first, but Eva gradually sees the kinder man beneath it. As their connection grows, she has to decide whether she can trust him, and whether she can trust her own feelings, enough to stay. Faith, forgiveness and hope run through the story. This is the first book in the Pinecraft Seasons series and is published in Harlequin's Love Uplifting line.
