Planet Quest

Thirteen young people have been stranded on an inhospitable planet, and if no one finds them soon, hunger will claim them. Ran and Aryn set out to search for the group, crossing a gusty terrain bristling with spiky vegetation. Before long they run into puzzles: the grown-ups seem to be hiding something, the people here are digging up an unknown resource, and an unseen threat is striking machines and people alike.

Ran's search carries him far from the others, and along the way several machines depend on his help. He begins to realize that friendship matters as much as anything else, and his resolve to return to his companions, Aryn above all, only grows.

This is a sequel to Pawn Quest.
