Planning Perfect

Felicity Becker loves watching an event come together. Prom, graduation, even the school's annual Arbor Day dance all appeal to her, because she finds something magical in shaping an experience people will remember. So when her mom gets engaged, Felicity sees the wedding as her chance to show what she can do.

Things get better when her long-distance friend Nancy offers her family's apple orchard as the venue. But as Felicity and Nancy spend time together shopping for dresses and searching for just-right mismatched china, Felicity starts to wonder whether there is more than friendship between them. She is on the asexuality spectrum and isn't sure how she feels. She doesn't know what dating would look like for her, or whether Nancy would be open to it when Felicity herself can't say what she wants from a relationship.

The summer gets more complicated when Felicity learns that one of the wedding guests is an event planner who can offer a prestigious internship. Meanwhile she has to manage her irresponsible mom, deal with her judgmental grandmother, and sort out her feelings for Nancy. This YA romantic comedy asks whether she can pull off the wedding, or whether all her plans will come crashing down.
