Power Play

Piper Mitchell is divorced, stuck in her career and nervous about dating again. She decides to focus on something she can control and sets out to learn how to be good in the bedroom. Her teacher is Liam Sullivan, a star NHL goalie who is not a people person but knows exactly what he is doing behind closed doors. With a little persuasion he agrees to guide her, and the arrangement stays casual and easy, something that suits them both.

Then a road trip to Las Vegas ends with Piper and Liam waking up after a night neither can remember, wearing matching wedding rings. They decide to see how much more fun they can have as husband and wife, but only for the hockey season, and it does not mean anything.

As time runs out on their fake marriage with benefits, the question is whether Piper and Liam can make it work in the real world, or whether their relationship will turn out to be a power play straight to disaster. Power Play is a romance by Chelsea Curto.
