Practical Statistics for Educators

Ravid (education, National-Louis University) offers a text for education students in a basic statistics course. This third edition features newly drawn graphs, an expanded index, and a revised and reorganized glossary. There is expanded discussion of how samples are used to estimate population values, and of the concept of effect size. In this edition, the reader is now provided with opportunities to practice the process of selecting the appropriate statistical tests and to answer research questions posed by researchers.
