Twenty artists explore the historical shifts embodied by the city of Chemnitz This book documents a public exhibition project staged in Chemnitz, Germany, which recounts the city’s history as a 19th-century industrial center and model of GDR-era socialism. The publication includes projects by an international roster of artists whose work addresses the city’s history and urban landscapes more generally.
