Purity Pledge

Ten years after graduating, the Class of '08 gathers at Hanwell High for a reunion, and the event becomes the backdrop for a reckoning. Molly is an honors student with a perfect record, Jason is a gifted basketball player, and Lauren is a preacher's daughter whose faith is known throughout town. On the surface they have little in common, yet all three once took part in the same purity pledge.

Beneath their public images, each of them is carrying something concealed: a past they have buried, secrets within their families, and promises that were broken. Someone is set on exposing the secrets that permanently link the three of them, forcing the question of whether honesty always serves the people it touches.

Adolescence was never simple for any of them, and now they must face adult life while trying to move on from what came before, all without wounding the people they love most. This coming-of-age psychological thriller refuses to let its characters be reduced to the roles they were given in school.
