Purplicious

Pinkalicious has always loved pink, so it is a shock when the girls in her class decide pink is out and black is in. She refuses to follow the crowd, and they start teasing her for it. Feeling gloomy and alone, she begins to wonder whether anyone else shares her passion for everything pink.

This picture book, a sequel in the Pinkalicious series, follows a young girl who holds on to her own taste even when her friends push back. Along the way she discovers that pink is not merely a pretty color but a strong one that deserves to be defended.
