Putty Pygmalion

Derryl is a lonely radish who tries to build himself a boyfriend out of a defunct children's product, one that is now illegal. His creation, Peter, comes to life eager to make a child happy. Instead he finds a suffocating, cloistered existence spent meeting Derryl's needs.

One night Peter sneaks out to a party and meets Derryl's friends, and there he learns that his creator's intentions go deeper than he had realized.

The story is a queer complication of the Pygmalion myth, told through Lonnie Garcia's emotional, multimedia comic art.
