Quarksandrium

A comet impact wrecks the world beyond repair, yet the disaster also clears a path toward a new one. In the years that follow, people develop many new technologies and discover time travel, and the chain of events these set off raises further puzzles. Can the characters reverse what has already happened, or was the future settled before they acted?

In The Beginning, B. Martinez takes readers on a science fiction journey to another era and place. The characters' feelings are easy to identify with, and the story asks readers to weigh unfamiliar viewpoints as they follow it.
