Rainbow Black

Rainbow Black blends a murder mystery with a love story between two women on the run across borders. It is set against the Satanic Panic of the 1990s and covers twenty years in the life of a young woman caught up in its aftermath. Lacey Bond is thirteen and lives in New Hampshire, where her hippie parents run a rural daycare center and her life is peaceful. Then, in the summer of 1990, the national mass hysteria reaches her family. Her parents are handcuffed and thrown into the county jail, where they face a flood of shocking accusations. When a horrific murder pushes Lacey to her breaking point, she makes a ruthless choice that will haunt her for decades.
