Rapture

Rapture is the fourth and final novel in Lauren Kate's Fallen series. Luce and Daniel are running out of time. Lucifer is trying to erase the past itself, and the only way to stop him is to find the place where the angels first fell to earth. Dark forces are tracking them the whole way, and Daniel is haunted by the thought of living on only to lose Luce again and again.

What waits for them is a vast battle, fought under a sky thick with wings, and it leaves bodies and angel dust in its wake. Sacrifices are made and hearts are broken. In the middle of the devastation, Luce comes to understand something that changes how she sees everything. The curse that has shadowed her and Daniel for so long has always centered on her, and on a love she once turned away from.

The choice Luce makes in the end is the one that matters most, and it decides the fate of both heaven and earth. For readers who have followed the series from the start, this is the book that brings its long-running love story and its war between angels to a close.
