Reawakening

Six months have passed since Redemption, the closing chapter of the Demon Spring trilogy. Demons still live among humans, but their world has changed since Bael, their king, died during the Great Demon War. Demon hunters Jack Grenard and Cam Macarro are feeling the shift.

Jack and Anya, who is now human, have settled into a semi-retired routine in Seattle, where Jack takes on unofficial demon hunting. Anya, however, is struggling to find direction now that Bael no longer dictates her choices. Meanwhile, Cam works as Director for Weapons Development for the International Coalition for Demon Management, on the other side of the Pacific. She is also quietly seeing Lotan, prince of the nox demons, who can shift into wolves. He wants their relationship to deepen, and Cam keeps hesitating until Lotan is abruptly taken by unidentified forces.

Cam turns to Jack and Anya for help bringing Lotan home, though the challenge is steep in a demonic landscape growing more hostile. When Anya hears a rumor that she could regain her former standing, she pulls the three of them into a journey around the globe.

Reawakening is the first volume of the Demon Fall trilogy, a spin-off set in the Demon Spring universe. Readers are strongly advised to read the Demon Spring books first. The book contains adult content, depression, and suicide.
