Rich enough?

Rich Enough? is a New Zealand guide to money that argues a relaxed approach to investing is easier and can leave you better off. Mary Holm sets out to tell readers what many in the financial industry would prefer they did not hear.

The book covers a wide range of everyday money matters. It explains how to get rid of debt, rein in spending, save without pain and choose the best KiwiSaver fund. It also looks at buying a home, or being content without one, and at heading into and through retirement with confidence, including why you do not need $1 million to retire well. Another theme is why it is usually best to set up your investments and leave them alone, and why, past a certain point, having more money does not bring more happiness.

Holm points out that, unlike many finance writers, she has nothing to sell apart from the book itself. Her only aim is to help readers do well.
