Ron Arad

A monograph devoted to Ron Arad, the designer whose pieces of furniture have made him one of the best-known names in contemporary design. Deyan Sudjic, a leading design critic, traces how Arad's output has evolved and examines where he stands within the wider history of the discipline.

Arad, an Israeli-born designer based in London, is known for work that tests the boundaries between object, sculpture and industrial production. The book places that work in the context of how design has changed over recent decades, looking at the ideas and tensions that shape his practice.
