Round Trip

Round Trip is a black-and-white picture book that travels from the country into the city and then home again. The book itself makes the journey: read it from front to back, then turn it upside down and read it again, and the same pictures show something new on the way back.

The inventive artwork is by Ann Jonas, who made it with pen and ink. The book was named a New York Times Best Illustrated Book of the Year. It suits young readers who enjoy visual surprises and looking at a picture in more than one way.
