Ruling Destiny

Within moments of walking through the gates of Gray Wolf Academy, the narrator's sense of normal life comes apart. At this school, time can be bent, redirected, and reshaped. Those who jump across centuries, known as Trippers, find the opportunities nearly limitless and the risks just as deadly. Her life now revolves around the hidden motives of the people closest to her.

Arthur runs the academy and is an odd, very wealthy man whose intentions are unclear. Killian may be the only truthful person she has met there, or the most skilled liar of all. Braxton is striking and impossible to read, but the strong pull between the two of them is the one thing she feels certain about.

Her travels take her to Renaissance Italy and to a Regency-era ball where she is there to steal. Every step adds to a tangle of deception and partial truths. Beneath it all lies a puzzle made of cryptic symbols and precious objects spread across different periods of history, all tied to her unusual talent for seeing through time.

Arthur's ambitions are dangerous, and her father once taught her lessons that now suggest she poses a threat not only to everyone at Gray Wolf but to time itself. This is the second book in the Stealing Infinity series, and it is meant to be read after Stealing Infinity.
