Sanyare

Rie has every reason to be celebrated: she turned the tide at the Battle of the Arches and kept a second Great War from breaking out. Yet rather than receiving honors, she lives in seclusion, closely supervised by her mentor, Lord Garamaen Sanyaro.

Sanyaro's buried history resurfaces, forcing the two of them into the dangerous lands of the Winter Realm. Their mission is to track down an old foe and see that he answers for his crimes. Can Rie halt the violence before innocent people die, and will the decisions made long ago demand an even steeper price?

Sanyare: The Winter Warrior is the fourth book in The Sanyare Chronicles. Readers who enjoy action-heavy fantasy, determined female leads, sharp-tongued companions, and dramatic magic with explosive fireballs should find plenty to like here.
