Sapling's Orbit

Addison Nora is sixteen and about to leave her homeworld for the first time. As a biokin, she is set to make a pilgrimage across the stars, but before she can book passage to another solar system, she is drawn into helping a creature from myth and legend aboard a space station run by the Evo corporation. Along the way, she begins to show powers she has no idea how to control.

Her ride out of the system is Mila Riley, a bold pilot who is hiding secrets of her own. With every step, Mila seems to steer them closer to danger. Addi must find her footing in an unfamiliar universe, learn to manage her new abilities, and sort out what is true from what is false before Mila's hidden motives put them both at risk. The stakes reach beyond the two of them, though Addi does not yet grasp how far.
