Scaredy Cat

Maine's long, cold, snowy winter is finally easing, and spring seems to be showing up early. Sarah Grayson, who runs the secondhand shop Second Chance, has been busy at work and is looking forward to a short afternoon away from the store. She plans to join her friend, Detective Michelle Andrews, on the North Harbor Spring House Tour.

One of the houses on the tour has a haunted past. When a ghost hunter is found dead on the property, Sarah decides that the best route to the killer is to look into the life of the dead man himself. She is helped by her affectionate rescue cat, Elvis, and by Charlotte's Angels, a group of senior citizen private detectives who work out of the shop.

This is the newest entry in the series, and it blends a small-town mystery with a chilling ghostly setting.
