Scarred

Tristan Faasa was raised as a spare, never expected to inherit the kingdom. That privilege belongs to his older brother, Michael, whose cruelty during their childhood also left the scar that marks Tristan's face. With their father's death, Michael is preparing to be crowned, while Tristan secretly leads a rebellion determined to bring his brother's reign to an end by any means.

Tristan's plans are complicated when Lady Sara Beatreaux arrives at court as Michael's intended bride. Tristan finds himself caught in a struggle where his ambitions, his loyalties and his feelings pull in opposite directions.

Sara has come with a single purpose: to marry the king and destroy the Faasa bloodline, even though the mission puts her own life at risk. She did not anticipate the marked prince, a man who is dangerous, off limits and one of the very men she was sent to kill. As hatred and attraction blur together and hidden truths come to light, Sara must decide whom she can trust and whether revenge is still worth the cost of the man she was never meant to love.
