School Warrior

Schools consume plenty of resources without much thought. Classroom paper starts as felled trees, single-use pens accumulate in landfills, and the transport of food for school lunches adds pollution to the air. This book invites young readers to become defenders of the planet who take on waste at school.

Clear, factual sections explain some of the most serious waste problems facing the Earth, and each one is paired with practical ideas that readers can use to push back against it.

The closing eco-activity sets out simple steps, supported by illustrations, so readers can carry out a hands-on project that tackles waste in their own school.
