Secrets & Demons

Hazel Rushton is not who she appears to be. The name is a cover, and so is the life of a postgraduate student at Stanford. By day she follows the rules and keeps up a routine that looks ordinary. After dark, she hunts monsters.

Hazel is the heroine of Trudi Jaye's latest urban fantasy. She is a determined, nerdy researcher who is not afraid to take on the creatures she tracks, and the story is built around fast, physical action. Readers who enjoy a capable protagonist battling the supernatural should find her a good fit.
