Serpent King

In the year 936, Einar Unnsson is a skilled fighter with one purpose: to track down the killer who took his mother's life and carried off her severed head. He has only recently been admitted into the Wolf Coats, a ruthless band of raiders who sail the seas and cut down anyone standing in their way. Before Einar can chase his own vengeance, he must join the crew on their newest campaign.

The warband has set its sights on King Eirik, their most dangerous opponent, who is trying to seize the throne of Norway. Meanwhile, Einar's longing to return to Iceland grows stronger every day. He believes that only on the land of his birth can he settle his score and begin to ease his grief.

What Einar does not know is that an old enemy is waiting for him in Iceland, one whose appetite for revenge is every bit as fierce as his own.
