Shall We Dance?

Animals have their own kinds of dance, and this nonfiction picture book looks at how and why different creatures move their bodies. Cranes pirouette, scorpions tango and seahorses twine together, among many other performers from across the animal kingdom.

For each animal, the book explains the purpose behind the movement. Some dances are for finding a mate, some are for driving off a predator, and some are simply for fun. Young readers may feel inspired to get up and dance along.
