She, Shapeshifter

She, Shapeshifter is the debut pamphlet from Seanín Hughes, a poet who writes from a working class and neurodivergent perspective. The collection takes up mental health, trauma and death, and asks whether people give themselves room to grow through pain or stay stuck in it.

The closing poem, 'Pretty Vacant', ends on a blunt, defiant dismissal of everyone, a stance the poems have been building toward.
