Sirena

Kitra Yilmaz captains a starship for hire, and she has just taken on her first job of real weight. She must guide a mysterious princess from Atlántida past the edge of settled space to find a new home world for her. Ten thousand lives depend on how the mission turns out. Kitra leads a crew of six close friends, and the trip is full of hazards: raiders who prey on travelers, desperate squatters living beyond the law, and a slow-building romantic tension among the people on board.

When the ship reaches a verdant planet that seems ideal for colonists, the crew finds an immense, disabled vessel already circling it. The story turns on what that battered ship is hiding and whether Kitra can take on the responsibility of the valuable cargo it carries.
